Grace Christian Academy in Waldorf, Maryland needed an IT infrastructure overhaul. Our technical team was able to diagnose the multiple problems, propose a solution, and work over the summer to replace their aging infrastructure. Grace Christian Academy went from using outdated network hubs, and an array of mismatched servers with failing hard drives, to a redundant server system using dual Dell servers running Microsoft Hyper-V technology. They went from having several outages per day and not being able to rely on their network, to increasing their technology use significantly.

The Accokeek Volunteer Fire Department, in southern Prince George's County, Maryland, has a very large fundraising event every year. This fundraiser brings in several hundred guests to participate in a several-hour-long "bash" (raffle), with prizes being awarded every few minutes. Due to the large amount of guests and less than ideal acoustic conditions (large cinder block room), they asked Maryland Fire Tech to provide custom software that could be displayed on several projectors throughout the banquet hall so guests could see the current item being given away, the next prize, the winning numbers as they are drawn, and several other pieces of relevant information useful to the attendees. We developed the software, and now it has become the standard for all similar events in Southern Maryland and beyond.

G & R Collision Center, in Waldorf, MD, has a large building with several independent work bay areas to allow multiple vehicles to be repaired at the same time. After a customers vehicle was repaired, they would come into the main office for pickup. There was no way to signal to an employee (who may be working on a vehicle in a bay approximately 200 feet way), to bring the customers vehicle to the front so they could inspect it and drive it home. Maryland Fire Tech proposed an audio paging system that integrated into their existing telephone system. Using this system, the manager can pick up the phone and make a broadcast page to all of the work areas so all employees can hear the message. This improved efficiency due to the manager not having to take the time to find the porter himself, which in turn improved customer satisfaction.

Have a hard drive fail or become unreadable? Using specialized tools and equipment we can recover your data. Recovery from failed and formatted hard drives is usually possible at a fraction of the cost of the specialized data recovery services. If we don't recover data, we don't charge you and will return the original drive back to you.
Before you get rid of those old computers, make sure the drives of wiped of all data. Using specialized hardware, we certify that your hard drive is completely wiped, including sectors that may be unreadable to software. Founded in Waldorf, Maryland in 2009, Maryland Fire Tech originally provided custom software to Fire Departments in the area. This software, "CAD Alert" (also known as a type of "pre-alert"), has been used to aid emergency responders finding addresses of emergency scenes, and making sure they are properly notified as fast as possible in an emergency.
